I know times are tough, and many people don't feel like they have the money to buy art. Not because they can't afford it, but because they feel that the newest technology, or a concert ticket is more important. So what would make art important enough to buy, rather than something that seems much "shinier" for the moment?

Art is, in fact, a lasting item. It will be there long after the next new technology is released or after the concert is over. It will bring you feelings, memories, humor, and a sense of satisfaction or happiness. It is always unique, a capture of the sky, flowers, scenery that looked like that for only one second of eternity.

Perhaps it is something you remember seeing, and want to preserve, to see again, or for your children and grandchildren to see. Maybe it is something you might have missed, or had seen, but not through the mind and lens of the photographer. No two moments are alike, the clouds will never be in the same spot, the blossom won't be turned the same way, or the same combination of fireworks won't ever burst that way again.

Add a picture you like to that blank space on the wall. It will be a subject of discussion, a prompt for memories, or just something to enhance the mood of the room. You will have the satisfaction of owning a unique print, one that is not mass produced, nor will it ever be.
Many of my images on my page are also available on greeting cards, post cards, coffee mugs, and other items. Please visit gradyart.deviantart.com/prints. It will help make you happy!

Thank You

Thank you all for the kind birthday wishes, and your well wishes. I have been gone for a while, trying to collect my thoughts, but I feel much better now. Your support is very much appreciated, and deeply honored.

I would also like to sincerely thank everyone who added my work to their favorites and collections. I would love to thank all of you individually, as is my habit, but I will never have enough time to do all that, but your support is very much appreciated!

Having a little problem with my left leg--possibly tendonitis--that has prevented me from going out on the trails as I so love to do. It seems to be getting better, so, hopefully this is not the end of my landscape photography. I am anxious to be getting out again.
Meanwhile, I will be working on some edits I've been wanting to try, and studying and exploring 3D art.

Yikes! I've been gone for a while, and now I have a lot to catch up on! I would like to thank everyone who has commented on my work, and/or added it to their favorites and collections. If I don't get a personal thank you out to you, it is not because I am ignoring you, it is just that I missed a message or notification. Thank you to all my friends and contacts! It's good to be back.
